Membership
So - do YOU know someone who would like to join?
Our membership secretary, Kevin Rowe arranges the following memberships. The fee is split between the club and Surf Life Saving Great Britain (Our national governing body) and covers personal accident insurance whilst undertaking club activities and using club kit.
Senior (£45): 18 years old and older
Youth (£35): 13 to 17 years old
Nipper (£35): 7 to 12 years old
Social (£27.50): Social members who aren’t insured to use the equipment
Age of the member on January 1st determines which membership applies for the season. e.g. To join the Nippers, members must be 7 before Jan 1st of the year you wish to join.
All members must be fully paid up before undertaking ANY surf club activity, both beach based or pool swimming.
All Youth and Nipper members MUST be able to swim at least 100m in the SEA front crawl, head down and pass a number of pool based tests prior to being accepted for membership.
Special rates apply where there are four or more family members. In these circumstances no subscription is payable for the youngest member.
