Become a Lifeguard

Our club is run by volunteers. We are always eager to train members to achieve a variety of qualifications. The Lifeguard award is offered to our regular volunteers.

As a club we rely on members gaining their lifeguard award to ensure we have the correct water safety cover when we run our training sessions.

To qualify as a lifeguard you will need to pass the fitness test; 200 metre run and 400 metre swim, show a variety of board competencies and pass the first aid training.
